A WESTBURY boxer is preparing for his next big fight, hoping to remain undefeated.
Local man, Anthony Fox, who has been boxing for five years, ended 2017 with his second professional win in a row.
His first fight of 2018 will take place at the Cheese & Grain in Frome on Friday 2nd March. Anthony said, “This will be the first time in my professional career where I will be fighting in the home corner. Although my opponent is yet to be announced, I have been told by Chris Sanigar, the promoter of the show, that I will be fighting in a proper 50/50 fight.
“I am coming off the back of two big wins from last year and I feel like this is a real turning point in my boxing career. Any support would be massively appreciated and I would love to bring as many supporters as possible. It’s on Friday 2nd March at the Cheese & Grain in Frome, tickets are priced at £35 and it’s expected to sell out, so it is advisable not to leave it until last minute. Also fighting at the event is Frome’s Ryan Wheeler, who has a big challenge ahead of him. To get tickets you can contact me on 07526 763715.
“I would like to say thank you to all the support I have received so far and a big thank you to one of my sponsors, Michelle Bateman, who’s kindly paid for my boxing medical this year.”
