The Jubilee Hall is a Charitable Trust (Reg: 238186) run by volunteers who work hard to provide a well-maintained, affordable venue with great facilities for the community right at the heart of Bratton. You will find us opposite The Duke Inn, on the main road through the village.
The hall is well used for a wide range of fitness classes including, pilates, chair yoga, tap and ballroom dancing. It is also a great space for art and crafting with the Pheonix Art Group and WI Crafting Group taking advantage of the facilities. It is also home to the Jubilee Players and is used by the Steeple Rocks Choir and Bratton Community Brass Bands as a rehearsal and performance space.
During 2025, our regular Coffee, Cakes and Chat sessions continued to be very popular part of village life, along with our monthly Big Bratton Breakfast with over 50 villagers enjoying our Christmas gathering. Our murder mystery evening, skittles night and quiz were also very popular.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who hires the hall and supports our fundraising events which help to keep our facilities fit for the future. We are particularly pleased that in 2025 this support has allowed us to update our bar facilities, which now makes hosting events and other activities a real pleasure.
Another highlight in 2025 was playing host, as part of Village Halls Week in March, to over 20 other village organisations, allowing them to showcase their work and recruit new volunteers. We plan to take part in Village Halls Week again in 2026 by hosting an event focussing on community health and wellbeing, the theme for next year.
