A BRATTON woman has shaved off her hair for charity, in memory of her father who died last year.
Emma Paine took part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘Brave the Shave’ to raise money for the national charity. Emma is still counting donations and collecting sponsorship money, but says that she is hopeful of reaching her £300 target.
Emma ‘braved the shave’ on Wednesday 31st July, which would have been her father Julian Robertson’s 75th birthday.
“I’m doing this in memory of my dad,” said Emma, “who lost his battle with cancer on the 21st December 2018, after being in remission twice.”
