Brokerswood Holiday Park hosts Welsh Rugby stars and charity cyclists

A peloton of 60 charity cyclists, including former Wales Rugby captain Ryan Jones and record try scorer Shane Williams, stopped off at Brokerswood Holiday Park this week to refuel during their 150-mile challenge from Sandbanks in Dorset to the Celtic Manor Resort outside Cardiff.
Staff and clients of Cardiff law firm Hugh James took part in the event on 28th and 29th June to raise money for the Princes Gate Trust, stopping off Brokerswood Holiday Park near Westbury, for much-needed refreshment as the UK basked in scorching temperatures.
Bobby McGhee, CEO at Haulfryn Group said, “The cyclists from Hugh James have taken on a serious challenge in some very tough conditions, and we were only too happy to welcome them to our new holiday park at Brokerswood for a much-needed pit stop.
“The park is in a great part of Wiltshire, surrounded by scenic countryside, so we hope that they enjoyed stopping off with us to refuel before continuing their journey to Wales.”
Princes Gate Trust was set up in 2014 by bottled water producer, Princes Gate Spring Water, with its aim to enhance and enrich the lives of disadvantaged children and young people and their families – be they affected by physical challenges or by life changing personal or family circumstances.
