ROTARY Club members are planning five events in the next two months including a Youth Speaks contest on Thursday 1st December preceded by a Young Chef competition in November.
Rotarian Sue Ezra explains, “The competitions enable the winners to progress to regional heats and ultimately national finals organised by Rotary and we are grateful to be well supported in them by Matravers staff and students who show great talent and enthusiasm.”

Charities supported from proceeds include Julia’s House Children’s Hospice in Devizes as well as other local and international good causes supported by the Rotary Club of Westbury Charitable Trust.
Westbury Rotary is once again supporting the Westbury Town Street Fair with a stall on Saturday 3rd December.
At Christmas there is a Carol Concert supported by local schools and the Bratton Silver Band at All Saints Church at 6.30pm on Monday 12th December. There is free admission and all are welcome. Attractions include community singing of carols, Father Christmas and refreshments. There is a retiring collection in aid of local charities and community causes.
