DILTON Memorial Hall will be celebrating its’ centenary in January 2021.
The parish council report, “The trustees were hoping to plan some events to mark the occasion but that’s looking very unlikely in the current circumstances.
“As the hall had to be closed during lockdown, we took the opportunity to give it a facelift as a birthday present. The floor was sanded and revarnished which, along with last year’s redecoration, has given it a fresh new look. New curtains for the stage have also arrived and will be put up soon.
“Many of you will have fond memories of activities and events at the hall and we thought it would be good to mark the centenary by collecting stories and photos which could be made into a display and maybe a booklet. Please contact Kathy Hutt on 01373 301656 with your thoughts.”
