WESTBURY and District Choral Society is celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a special concert on Saturday 21st May at All Saints’ Church, Westbury.
The concert starts at 7.30pm with pre-concert drinks and canapés served from 6.30pm and are included in the ticket price of £12. Accompanied children under 16 years old are free, but require a ticket.
Allison Smith, chair of Westbury and District Choral Society said “In these times of great concern for the people of Ukraine, the concert will include a sung Prayer for Ukraine written by John Rutter. We will also expect you to join us for Land of Hope and Glory and the National Anthem.
“Tickets and programmes will be available shortly, from members of the choir, Spacecraft on Maristow Street and a few on the door subject to availability. We look forward to seeing you there!”
