WORK to repair the tin church in Brokerswood can continue after £1,376 was raised from a charity day at The Mead Nursery last month.
Emma and Steve Lewis-Dale hosted the event to raise funds for the upkeep of the church.
Steve presented Marion Masters, treasurer of Brokerswood Tin Church with a cheque for £1,376.
Marion said, “This was a wonderful sum raised by Steve and Emma’s customers and will be a great help as there are always repairs that need doing to the church.
“Over the last 18 months the interior has been decorated and we have had some new windows made to replace the ones that had rotted.”
