ENTRIES have been pouring in for the children’s colouring competition, organised by local estate agents Martin & Co. But you’ve still got time to enter!
Children are being encouraged to sharpen their colouring pencils and enter the competition to be in with a chance of winning front row tickets to see Disney’s musical extravaganza, The Lion King at the Bristol Hippodrome in September.
The musical that has wowed audiences across the world will be coming to the Bristol Hippodrome from Saturday 7th September until Saturday 23rd November. The Bristol Hippodrome say, “Set against the majesty of the Serengeti to the evocative rhythms of Africa, The Lion King tells the story of Simba’s epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
“Director Julie Taymor uses breathtaking theatrical magic to bring Disney’s original animated feature to life in a production which has thrilled over 95 million people around the world.”
Luke Hames who is organising the competition explains the idea behind it; “We are so lucky to have a successful business in the town and the community has always supported us, so we wanted to give something back.
“I have two little ones myself, so we wanted to do something fun for the local children.”
Anyone can enter the competition by colouring the picture below or picking up a copy from the estate agent’s premises on Leigh Park.
