ALL Saints Church in Westbury is holding their first Tractorfest this Saturday 23rd June, which will see a display of tractors of all ages and a selection of West Country activities such as skittles and welly wanging.
There will also be more traditional fayre stalls such as tombola, raffle, games and toys, face painting and the ever-popular cake stall.
“The event is raising money towards the up-keep of the beautiful 14th Century Grade 1 listed building. Unfortunately some expensive updates/repairs have had to happen recently, chiefly the need to install CCTV both inside and outside the church as a result of antisocial behaviour. This has allowed the church to be open all day, everyday for local people to use and visit, as well as those who come from abroad on family history trails, or just to view the amazing windows.”
Tractors will be on display between 10.00am -3.00pm and the Fayre will be 11.00am – 2.00pm. For further details please contact the parish office on 01373 859450.
