Clearwood Boarding Cattery in Dilton Marsh are pleased to announce their first fundraising event raised £454 for Cats Protection
A great day was had by everyone, with teas, home-made cakes, raffle and plant stall. Proprietor Sue said, “We had been keeping our fingers crossed for fine weather and a good turn out, and we are thrilled that so many people came along to support us.
“We have had some wonderful raffle prizes donated by the local vets at Garstons, Harris Hill and Highcroft plus other donations from Kevins’ Menswear and the Beauty Salon, as well as various gifts from our customers too.
“Our cattery team as well and some customers baked some lovely cakes which proved to be very popular.
“Everyone has been so generous and we thank them all for their support in helping us to raise the grand total of £454.15 for Cats Protection. We are now looking ahead to next year’s event and maybe include some new additional ideas and stalls.”
