A local crafting club, which is looking for new members, will meet again this month.
The Westbury Crafting Collective was started recently by Lisa McGowan, who is encouraging new members to join in 2026. The group meets fortnightly on Mondays at the United Reform Church from 7pm to 9pm.
The first session of each month is ‘bring your own project’ and the second is a group project.
“We have had decoupage candles, lantern making, resin jewellery and wreath making,” said Lisa. “It’s a low-cost way of crafting and making friends.”
It costs £10 to join and £10 a month, with all funds invested back into the group.
The next meeting will be on Monday 12th January. For more information on how to join, contact the group via their Facebook page or email them at westburycrafting@gmail.com.
