Frome Memorial Theatre is proud to welcome the return of the Frome Rotary Club who are presenting ‘For One Night Only’ on Friday 27th February at 7.30pm.
The evening will be a night of spectacular entertainment featuring many local performances including: Danceworks, Dennis (Clem Pullet) Barnard, Graham Harding and the Woodlanders, Grayson Pattemore, stars of the Frome Musical Theatre Company together with their youth group ‘Spellbound’.
Also performing will be the well known local trio Pink Champagne and the winner of the 2014 Frome Rotary Musician of the Year, Lucy Little, all under the masterful control of David Millard as the evening’s compere. This year’s variety concert is in aid of ‘Help for Heroes’. So why not support a brilliant cause and enjoy yourself at the same time at this wonderful event.
Also in March the Memorial hosts The Circus of Horrors on Saturday 7th at 7.30pm.
The show started it’s gruesome beginnings at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival and became an instant hit, touring all over the world, It stormed into the finals of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and now a West End smash is back to mark its 20th Anniversary in spectacular style.
‘The Night of the Zombie’ is set in 2020, a decrepit and corpse ridden London, plagued by a swamp of Zombies. In a city ruled by the undead and climaxing in an awesome flaming apocalypse.
The story twists and turns with grisly murders and sensational shocks – all interwoven with some of the greatest and most bizarre circus acts on earth, sword swallowers, knife throwers, daredevil balancing acts, astounding aerialists, a demon dwarf, a Guinness World Record holding ‘hairculian’ hair hanging beauty, Sinister Sisters, gyrating and fire limboing acrobats and much more.
Performed by an almighty cast with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek and the devil driver rock n’ roll of Dr Haze & The Interceptors from Hell. Note: Not suitable for ‘under 16s’.
