ALL Saints’ Church is inviting people from across the Westbury area to join them for a Harvest Festival service for all ages on Sunday 24th September at 10am.
The church has invited local uniformed organisations including the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and St John Ambulance cadets to join them for an interactive service along with their parents and carers with all family members invited.
Revd Rebecca Harris says, “During the service, we shall be thinking about the beautiful world we live in and all the wonderful things we are blessed with in our lives. We shall be thinking of those who do not have enough to eat and taking a collection of non-perishable tins and packets of food to give to the Westbury food bank.
“The service starts at 10am and will include songs, hymns, prayers, reading from the Bible and a time to think and reflect. At the end, everyone is invited to stay on for drinks and biscuits and to meet each other. We hope this will be a wonderful way to get together as a community, to support one another and give thanks to God for all his blessings to us in this life. All are welcome. Please come and join in!”
