CHARLIE’S bar has a packed calender of musical talent for your entertainment.
Charlie’s welcomes Black Iron Priest to Westbury on Friday 28th August, 9.30pm-11.45pm. The hard rocking tribute band perform hits by the classic metal bands Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

Local youngsters, Summoned by Ash are performing at Charlie’s on Saturday 29th, 9.30pm-11.45pm. It’s their second time playing at the bar following a successful debut on Christmas Eve.
The pop/punk band is based across Westbury and Trowbridge and its set list combines a mixture of heavy hard hitting songs and catchy more well known songs.
The band is fronted by local singer/songwriter and former Matravers student, Lauren Medway. Westbury’s very own musical talent has been showcasing her powerful voice from a young age.
Lauren won Matravers’ Young Musician of the Year back in 2013 and since then has been heard at various music events in the town, including Westbury’s Summer Street Fayre.
Supporting them is another local band, Snakebite. The group of youngsters will perform their own tracks with some covers thrown in.
Popular local artist Antigua Joe will be bringing the sunshine to Charlie’s on Friday 4th September, 9pm-11.45pm. He will be performing his take on Caribbean calypso, reggae and ska and continuing that summertime feeling well into September.
Known as Wiltshire’s finest heavy metal band, Severance will be performing on Saturday 5th September, 9pm-11.45pm.
Established in 1988, Severance are a five-piece traditional British steel with a twist of European rock for fans of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and early Metallica. With over 25 years of experience, Charlie’s is very pleased to welcome them to their stage.
