The annual Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints’ Church in Westbury welcomed around 1,800 visitors this year, with 49 decorated trees on display.
The festival ran from 5th to 7th December and showcased trees decorated by local schools, groups and businesses. The festival raised approximately £3,000 for the church.
The weekend was packed with live entertainment and concluded with a Christingle Service. The festival raised approximately £3,000 for the church.
“Thank you very much to all those who supported our Christmas Tree Festival,” said Revd Rebecca Harris.
“We very much enjoyed the performances of ALW Dance School on Friday night, along with our local church schools: Westbury Junior School choir, Westbury Leigh School choir and two cornet players from Dilton Marsh School. They were all brilliant! Thank you also to others who performed over the weekend, including singers from Westbury Choral Society, Amusette musicians and the recorder group.
“Thanks to all the businesses, schools and charities who displayed their trees, and all the volunteers and providers of raffle prizes.
“The winner of the Christmas Tree competition was 1st Westbury Scout Group! Congratulations to them.”
