White Horse News invites a Wiltshire councillor to write about issues of their choosing.
I am very proud to have been elected Wiltshire Councillor for Ethandune, which for those who are not familiar with the boundaries, includes Dilton Marsh, Hawkeridge, Heywood, Bratton and Edington.
During my campaign leading up to the 1st May election, I toured the area speaking to many people on their doorsteps. This gave me the best possible insight into the issues that are foremost in the minds of residents. I will use this as a template for highlighting your views at council and with other agencies and, with that in mind, I am very keen to hear your views. I am willing to listen to and address any issues you have, so please don’t hesitate to contact me either my email, telephone or via my Facebook page either to ask for help or simply to make me aware of something you feel matters.
As your councillor, I will be working hand in hand with your parish council and community organisations, supporting them in their aims and helping them get the best outcomes to their objectives. I have been appointed to the Children’s Select Committee, the Western Area Planning Committee and am the youth lead for the Westbury Area Board. As bridge between the community and Wiltshire Council my objective is simply to look after the best interests of both residents and the council and to ensure you get the best possible service delivery.
I look forward to meeting as many Ethandune residents as possible during the next four years.
