THE latest crime reports released for Westbury include fuel, bike and vehicle thefts, an abusive cold-caller, a burglary, and criminal damage.
Wiltshire Police’s reports are as follows:
Crime – Vehicle offences. 06/07/2016; 08:41. Kingdom Avenue, Northacre Industrial Park, Westbury, BA13 4FG. Suspect/s have jumped over a fence into the yard and moved some concrete piles to gain access to a lorry fuel tank. Suspect/s has then siphoned the fuel using unknown means and stolen 180 litres of diesel (TVO £200).
Crime – Theft. 04/07/2016; 13:21. Market Place, Westbury, BA13 3DG. Suspect/s using instrument unknown have removed property from a handbag which was left unattended at location.
Crime – Theft. 04/07/2016; 15:17. Downs View Road, Westbury, BA13 3AQ. Unknown suspect has stolen IP’s pedal cycle which was left outside, exposed and insecure. Purple men’s Claude Butler mountain bike.
Crime – Theft. 04/07/2016; 20:11. Marys Lane, Dilton Marsh, Westbury, BA13 4BL. Vehicle has been stolen without the keys whilst it has been parked on the driveway. It is not known how the vehicle has been driven away.
ASB – Personal. 30/06/2016; 13:20. Church Street, Westbury. Suspect has tried to sell female items at the door but when victim has refused he has become verbally abusive.
We have had several reports of ‘Nottingham Knockers’ over the last 24 hours. Please report any suspicious activity via 101.
Crime – Burglary. 29/06/2016; 19:37. Leighton Park West, Westbury. Suspects have smashed conservatory windows to gain access to the address. All drawers in the bedroom open. Unknown at this time what has been stolen.
Crime – Arson and Criminal Damage. 20/06/2016; 10:45. Emms Lane, Bratton, Westbury. Unknown Suspect(s) have driven through an electric fence believed to have been hare coursing. The fence was surrounding a pen that keeps white cattle in and they have been left wandering.
Crime – Burglary. 14/06/2016; 23:11. Cannon Green, Westbury. Unknown suspect has entered the victim’s home through the insecure back door and taken a silver 17th century cigarette case from the kitchen unit while the victim slept on the sofa. TVO £200 and made off.
