Croquet has resumed at Leighton Recreation Centre after a break in 2020.
The sport returned last week. For the group, Menna Milnes reports, “We had fine weather whilst we played, although there was rain before and after the session. We had some newcomers who seemed to enjoy themselves.
“The session starts each week on Tuesdays at 2.30pm and lasts until 4.30pm. We set out three lawns and have the chance to play both versions of the game, that is, association croquet and golf croquet.
“The cost is £3 per session. We are able to show newcomers how to play. All are very welcome.”
