A FUNDRAISER has been set up to help pay for funeral costs following the death of a Westbury man last month.
34-year-old Jamie Howarth died in a collision involving a car, motorcycle and combine harvester on Marsh Road in Standerwick near Frome on Tuesday 22nd August as he was travelling home from work.
His family have since launched an online crowdfunding campaign to help pay for funeral costs while they cope with their loss.
The crowdfunding campaign which was set up by the sister of Jamie, Nicola, reads, “I am trying to raise funds to lessen the burden for our family as we have recently just started to rebuild our lives after the loss of [Jamie].
“Jamie was loved by so many people; he had so many friends nation-wide from Newton Aycliffe to Wiltshire – Jamie was always a happy-go-lucky free spirit. We have so much extra costs for us a family to give Jamie the best send-off. Our family were Jamie’s world as he was ours; if people can please help me to especially help my little sister Lucy who is left down there with our mam stepdad and her little girl who absolutely doted on her uncle Jamie.
“Any help would be absolutely most grateful no matter how small. Thank you for the support our family have received so far – much love to each and every single person.”
The crowdfunding page has a target of £2,000 and, at the time of writing, £1,090 has been raised. If you would like to donate visit www.gofund me.com/f/jamie-andrew-howarth
