A diagnosis of vascular dementia hasn’t stopped Duncan Baxter of Westbury from enjoying life.
The retired policeman is a keen bowler and fundraiser and has donated £210 to Wiltshire charity Alzheimer’s Support from a triples tournament held at Spencer Moulton Bowls Club in Bradford-on-Avon.
Duncan says, “Everyone who knows me knows I have short-term memory loss, but I still carry on as normal. You only get one chance in life so you have to make the most of it.”
