THE next talk at the Dilton Marsh Local History Society will be about the Monmouth Rebellion on Friday 27th January from 7.30pm at the Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall.
Organisers say, “Our next talk is by local history author Gary Kearley who lives in Frome. His subject will be the Monmouth Rebellion also known as the West Country Rebellion that touched Dilton Marsh, circa 23-24 June 1685. Questions will be appreciated.”
All are welcome, entrance fee is £4 for non-members £2 for members. Annual membership fee is £7.
