THE Dilton Marsh Local History Society is hosting a free open day on Saturday 17th June from 10am to 3pm at the Dilton Memorial Hall, where those interested in the history of the village can view the society’s collection.
On show will be old village maps and photos as well as other items such as Roman pottery, coins, clay smoking pipes and more. A range of family history records will also be made available along with an open invitation for visitors to have their own memories of village life recorded.
