IT has been an emotional few weeks for Dilton Marsh Primary School as staff and pupils said goodbye to the headteacher, Judith Finney who retired at the end of term.
The staff at the school organised a surprise tea party for Judith, to celebrate her 26 years at the school. They wanted to thank her for all her hard work, dedication and commitment.
Judith said, “I really had no idea that they were planning a party. It was such a lovely afternoon, we had a tea party and the children performed dances and the choir sung.
“I wish the new team good luck for the future. I am happy to be leaving the school the way it is. It is a great success and something to be very proud of.”
Deputy head, Nina Stiddard, also left the school at the end of the term.
