Stepping Stones – a small local charity providing therapy and specialist support to pre-school age children with special needs and their families – is looking for trustees.
The charity, which has been operating since 1974, says, “We run 10 sessions a week for these children with a staff of 16 (mostly part time) and have an Ofsted rating of Outstanding.
“We are managed by an established committee comprised of parents, friends and professionals who volunteer time and support to act as a trustee. The individual commitment is to attend evening meetings, which take place on average five times each year, to help provide expertise and guidance on maintaining our outstanding service and possible involvement in overseeing the statutory accounts.
“We are keen to ensure that Stepping Stones continues to benefit from a broad base of experience and therefore are seeking professionals who would be interested in joining our management committee as a trustee, sharing in our success.
“If you would like to consider this as an opportunity to develop links with Stepping Stones and extend your experience as a trustee then please contact Debbie Wickham, manager or Barbara Jansen administrator on 01225 350015 or email: admin@steppingstonestrowbridge.co.uk
