ORGANISERS of the popular Westbury Transport and Vintage Gathering have confirmed that this year’s event will be taking place on the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April.
The event, which forms a permanent part of the local events calendar, sees hundreds of petrol heads come to the top field of Bratton to see a variety of vintage cars, military vehicles, stationary engines, tractors, bikes and motorbikes
“We are already receiving enquiries about our 2024 event and I am delighted to be able to say that the 2024 event is already up and running,” said the organiser, Keith Miller.
“All types of vintage transport and machinery are welcome, from bicycles to heavy waggons cars, from buses to stationary engines. We make no charges for exhibitors or parking; all children are free but we do charge £2 for visitors as we did 30 years ago to cover our expenses. There will be a bus service on the Saturday.”
