PROVIDENCE Chapel in Dilton Marsh has got plenty going on this Easter to keep the whole family entertained during the school holidays.
From Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th April, the children’s Bible Club will be exploring the story of Genesis each day from 10.15am to 12pm for those aged four to 11. There will be songs, stories, crafts and quizzes, and an opportunity to win prizes.
There will also be a ‘Pizzas and Prizes’ on the Friday at 6pm, an opportunity for children to come along with their families, eat pizza and collect their prizes.
On Sunday 17th April will be the first of a series of ‘Bake Through the Bible’ events. From 4pm there will be an afternoon exploring the big themes of the Bible and using fun recipes to help children understand and remember them.
It will be followed by sandwiches and bakes and, in the spirit of the Bake-Off, there might even be the occasional competition!
The church will be holding its Easter Sunday services at 10.30am and 6pm, and Jonathan Bayes will be taking a special morning service on Sunday 17th April as part of the annual Grace Baptist Mission weekend.
