Macmillan Cancer Support is hosting its annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ with fundraisers around the country serving up coffee (and tea) and cake, all in aid of the charity.
In 2018, Westbury raised hundred of pounds for Macmillan and this year should be no exception, with coffee mornings being held across Westbury and surrounding villages including:
• Leigh Park Community Centre, Leigh Park Way, Thursday, September 26th, from 10am to 12pm. Organisers say, “Come along to our coffee morning, every penny we raise means Macmillan can help more people with cancer live life as fully as they can. Free bouncy castle for the kids, stalls, raffle plus a chance to win a £100 M&S voucher.”
• Heywood Village Hall, Church Road, Saturday 28th September, from 10am to 12pm. Organisers say, “Please come along to our coffee morning to show your support for Macmillan Cancer Support. You’re welcome to bring a cake or something yummy to share (homemade or bought!)”
• Jubilee Hall Bratton, Saturday 28th September, from 10am to 3pm. Organisers say, “Bake it or fake it! Any donations of cakes on the day will be warmly welcomed.”
