A YOUNG pupil from Westbury Leigh CofE Primary School, Adam, was awarded a green Blue Peter badge for his ideas towards helping his school use less electricity.
The primary school has recently announced that they have applied to become an Eco School, setting up an Eco Club where pupils can learn about different ways to be better with energy usage, and protecting the environment.
Adam recently spoke to the Eco Club about his great ideas to help the school save on their electricity. Because of this, he was awarded a green Blue Peter badge, a badge for Blue Peter viewers who care about the environment.
The school said, “Very well done Adam for helping to make a difference to our school.”
