The annual Edington Arts Advent Concert will return on Saturday 7th December at Edington Priory Church.
The mixed choir from Somerville College, University of Oxford, will perform under the direction of conductor and freelance singer Will Dawes.
Organiser Anne Curtis said, “Somerville College Choir has achieved a phenomenal amount since its creation, touring, recording, and broadcasting regularly. As a key part of a non-denominational college, the chapel and choir are unique within the university, enjoying a certain freedom from convention. This enables them to choose Christmas music from a wider and more varied repertoire than usual.
“You can expect plenty of traditional and well-loved music, both old and more recent, but also some unusual and unexpected delights.”
