LOCAL funeral directors continue their ‘egg-ceptional’ charity work as they donate more Easter eggs to those in need, with thanks to a donation from Morrisons, Westbury.
Local funeral directors C.S.Bowyer of 23, Maristow Street have been bringing a smile to the faces of children in the Westbury schools and local refuge by giving them an Easter egg.
Supermarkets, Tesco Express and Morrisons, kindly donated the stock to C.S Bowyer and with the help of Len Clift, chairman of Crosspoint, have distributed them to those in need across the town.
Funeral manager Neil Crook, along with funeral arranger Susan Partner said, “We would like to thank Tesco Express and Morrisons for their very kind donations which has helped us to make Easter a happier time for some in the community.
“C.S.Bowyer is part of Dignity, a British company with funeral homes across the UK, many of whom have taken part in the company’s Easter Egg Appeal and donated thousands of chocolate gifts to children in hospitals, hospices, care homes and women’s refuges.”
