Westbury Gasification Group member, Dan Gmaj, is urging residents to email their concerns about the ATT gasification plant to the environment agency.
He says that in order to keep informed and have the best possibility to register any future concerns about the plant planned for Westbury, it is ‘essential’ to email the Environment Agency.
Dan said, “Email with some simple words along the lines of: ‘As a concerned resident, please could you keep me fully up to date with regard to the EA process of the proposed ATT Facility in Westbury’
“Such a simple statement emailed to wessexenquiries@environment-agency.gov.uk will ensure that you are kept in the loop as the application process for the ‘Environmental Permit’ unfolds.
“I cannot stress highly enough the importance of this simple action to keep every concerned community member in the loop!
“Opportunities to get further involved at a later stage will then be easier and more open to you with time to react as we expect the permit to be applied for anytime soon.
