The popular Bratton Hilly Run will take place again this year on Saturday 11th May.
This will be the 23rd running of the event. The race will start at 11.00am in the village and then takes a challenging route up on the edge of Salisbury Plain and runners are rewarded with panoramic views both of the plain and the valley beyond.
Entrance fees for the race have been held at the same price as last year, namely £11 in advance or £13 on the day. There will be prizes for the first three males, first three females, first MV40, MV50 and MV60, first FV35, FV45, FV55, first male team of four finishers and first female team of four finishers. There will also be a race souvenir for all finishers.
Each year a donation is made from the proceeds of the race to a local worthy charity. This year, as last, the charity will be the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Last year the race was able to present them with a cheque for over £400.
Online entries are available at www.entrycentral. com/Bratton-Hilly-Run. There will also be on-the-day entries available.
