Preparations are under way for this year’s Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show, with organisers inviting entries across a range of classes ahead of next month’s event.
The show will take place on Saturday 25th July at Dilton Memorial Hall.
“We are really looking forward to seeing all of your entries and hope you will be walking home with a certificate or two and maybe even a trophy,” said chair of the flower show committee Angie Gibbs.
“There is still plenty of time to enter, and anyone wishing to do so will need a show schedule for full details, including the entry forms. You can get a copy from Dilton Memorial Hall, Holy Trinity Church, Golden Wok & Chips, Dilton Marsh Primary School foyer and The Weavers.
“Remember to complete your entry form and get it in on time. The cut-off date for entering is midnight on Tuesday 21st July.”
The show opens to the public at 2pm, with prize-giving starting at 3pm. Refreshments will be available and there will be a small auction of selected produce and baked goods. Organisers are reminding attendees to bring cash.
