THERE are two festive themed runs this December raising money for local charities – the ever-popular fancy dress Christmas Fun Run and the more challenging Winter Plain Crazy.
The Christmas Fun Run is on Saturday 10th December.
Held at Westbury RFC, the fun run is in support of Westbury Lions, who say, “There will be a free Santa hat for everyone to wear as well as a medal for all finishers. You can choose from four distances of 1/2 mile (1 lap), 1 mile (2 laps), 2 miles (4 laps), or 3 miles (6 laps). Get cheered on by Santa and Mum, then look out for Dad who has the jelly babies. Everyone is welcome, adults, children, dogs and fancy dress.”
