COUNTRYSIDE charity, CPRE Wiltshire, is inviting people to “celebrate the end of lockdown” by joining them at an exclusive event in an exotic garden in Westbury.
On Sunday 8th August, Colin and Penny Little are opening up their famous ‘Chinese Garden’ called ‘Beggars Knoll’ to CPRE Wiltshire, with exclusive access to the garden rooms they have been developing for over twenty years.
“Experience the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese garden filled with native plants and traditional structures based on a style which has evolved over three thousand years,” says the charity.
“Wander through gateways and pavilions and witness beautiful mosaics intertwined with azaleas, magnolias and other beautiful and rare flora and reflect and escape the outside world in this glorious haven.
“Be one of the first people to see the latest room in the fusion garden, the Kashgar Garden, designed to celebrate friendship with the Uyghurs of northwest China.
“Entry is £6 per person with tea and homemade cake available at £4 per person. We have morning sessions available, with tickets limited to 25 people per session, the morning session starts at 10:30am.”
Tickets can be purchased by contacting Geraldine on admin@cprewiltshire or calling 01380 722157.
