Fairfield Farm College held its annual Horse and Dog Show fundraising event on Saturday 22nd September.
The college reports, “Despite the wet weather, we had a good community support and managed to raise over £1,000 to go towards the indoor horse arena project.
“This year saw the introduction of some new classes for novice riders, which was well received. A huge thank you to Frome Dog Agility training group who ran our dog show and braved the elements to ensure that everyone had a fantastic day.
“The rosettes for the event were sponsored by Cooper & Tanner, Magpie Auctions, Bridget Bazell physiotherapy, Hetreed Ross architects, Martin & Co Westbury Ltd and Garston Veterinary Practice.
“We also secured some fantastic raffle prizes from Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery, Salisbury Racecourse, Newbury Racecourse, Lyons Seafoods, Castle Combe Race Circuit and Wadswick Country Store.
“We were delighted to be supported by local professional photographer, Alex Kennedy of ATKPhoto.com He captured the day perfectly and we really enjoyed having his involvement in the day.
“We couldn’t have run such a great event without all of our judges, volunteers, students and staff who gave up their time to support this event. Planning is already under way for next year’s event and it looks set to be bigger and better.”
