Fancy finding out more about Dickens? Or getting the chance to read your favourite poem with a group of like-minded literature lovers? Well the festival has lots to offer.
Dr Keith Hooper, a popular speaker at previous festivals, will be returning to give a talk at Westbury library on ‘Our Mutual Friend’.
Published poet and Westbury resident, Judith Nicholls, will be helping to host a special poetry evening at Chantry Court, reading her own work and encouraging everyone to bring along their favourite verses for reading and sharing in Westbury’s own version of Poetry Please. Wine, nibbles and an unusual literary quiz look set to make this an entertaining evening with even the raffle set to have a literary feel!
