WESTBURY Leigh Folk Dance Club is welcoming back dancers this month and the group are determined to not let lockdowns get in the way this time!
The club reopens this week on Thursday 3rd February and will run every Thursday with the occasional Saturday dances, the first of which is taking place on Saturday 19th February.
The group say, “Folk dancing (or country dancing as it is sometimes called) has been taking place for 45 years in Westbury Leigh, first in the old church hall and now in the amazing new hall inside the church on the beautiful dance floor.
“New members are always welcome and no experience or partner is needed. Anyone interested please phone Ann on Tel: 07947 048681 or just pop along on a Thursday evening.”
Dancing takes place in the community hall of the church in Westbury Leigh, BA13 3SQ.
