Wiltshire Mind is pleased to be part of the a Health Education England project which is offering a comprehensive programme of free training on various aspects of mental health to people working in Wiltshire in the following sectors: emergency services, care provision, voluntary organisations and health services.
The charity says, “We want to raise awareness of mental health issues which will help people deal more effectively with those they meet who are experiencing poor mental health.
“We have a range of training sessions designed to suit all needs, from bitesize (1-2 hours) to 1 and 2-day courses.
“We are offering a mental health first aid course:
4th February – one-day Mental Health First Aid Course
“It is free of charge and available for up to 10 delegates from the above sectors, on each course.
“We are also offering two-hour courses on: 5 Ways to Wellbeing and Mental Health Awareness.
“Later in the year there will be a session on mental health awareness training for managers too.
