THE West Wiltshire Gauge 0 Group is holding its ever-popular pre-Christmas annual railway show again this year, with the hall laid out to be more socially distanced.
The show is on November 13th running from 10am until 4.30pm at the Paragon Hall in Haynes Road, Westbury. This will be the 21st show the group have put on for model train enthusiasts and families.
The entry prices this year are £6.00 adults and £5.00 for concessions and Gauge 0 Guild members. 12.00 for a family of 2+2 and £2.00 for children,
The layouts invited this year are varied and will cover most of the popular scales and gauges.
The layouts are as followed; Bitterfeld German Track Engineering N Gauge; Crossway Wagon Works 0, 00, N Gauge; End of the Line industrial coal British 0 and 014 by Tim Cockcroft; Woodside GWR 00; Sandford GWR N; Axe Valley; Mill Southern 0; Test Track 0 and Scalextric.
Trade support this year is once more from A.P.K Models with pre-owned quality 0 gauge stock, David Smith Books, Branchlines of Westbury with kits, motors and gears etc in most gauges, John Drago pre-owned railway items and a bring and buy stall.
Modelling demonstrations are by The Bristol 0 Gauge Group. There will be a tombola with prizes donated by members of the West Wiltshire Gauge 0 Group. Refreshments will also be available.
The Paragon Hall is immediately adjacent to High Street Car Park, where there is two hours free parking with a ticket.
From the car park, there is a slope down to the hall. There is a two-inch step into the hall. There is also a lower car park for longer paid parking.
“Come along and have an enjoyable time relaxing with a cup of tea and a cake watching the trains go by,” says the group.
