Westbury Court Care Home held a ‘Summer Country Fayre’ earlier in August with stalls, fun activities, teas and cake.
Activities co-ordinators at the home Linda Bush and Suzanne Holmes arranged the afternoon.
Suzanne said, “The afternoon was packed with stalls and fun activities to take part in such as ‘wine or water’, ‘panning for gold’, ‘homemade cake stall’ and ‘cock-a-doodle-poo’ to name but a few!
“Both residents and their families had fun in the sun as the weather was beautiful for us. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon spent in the garden chatting, having tea and cake and basking in the warm summer sunshine.
“Linda and I would like to thank everyone who supported and helped us to put on such an enjoyable afternoon, especially Cinnamon Lounge, Eastern Paradise, Madame Butterfly, Thai Orchid, Suave, Elliott’s Butcher, Allsorts, Davies, Cards Plus, Co-op, Morrisons.”
