A FUNDRAISER organised by Westbury Parent Carer Support Group raised £578 for their Christmas party.
The event was organised to raise funds for the group to be able to hold a Christmas party for those who use the group.
Star Painter from the group said, “Children with special needs find it hard to join in at their schools’ Christmas party. With the money we have raised, we can now organise a Christmas party for them where they feel comfortable and have fun in an environment they feel safe in.
“We are so pleased to have raised almost £600. Thank you to all the local business who donated to our raffle including Fairwood Lakes and Studio Ink. Thank you also to everyone who was involved in organising the day, we couldn’t have done it without you all. Finally, thank you to all the children who came along and helped, you were fantastic.”
