Children and young people across Westbury are being invited to design a Christmas card for the Mayor’s annual competition.
Winners will be chosen in different age categories.
The overall winner will have their design featured on the Mayor’s official Christmas card and will be invited to switch on Westbury’s Christmas lights at the festive event on Saturday 28th November.
Mayor Carole King said, “As someone who still has a box full of playgroup/school artwork for each of my two children in the attic, I am pleased to be asking the schoolchildren of Westbury to participate in this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition.
“I still have some past cards produced by children over the years, which go up on my family art wall each Christmas and I will look forward to helping to choose this year’s Mayor’s Christmas card.”
The entry form can be found at www.westburytowncouncil.gov.uk/dept/christmas-lights/.
The deadline for entries is Friday 6th November.
