Wrestling fans in Frome are getting ready for another huge live event at the Cheese and Grain on Saturday 21st February as one of the most popular professional wrestlers in the UK and the new All Nations Champion: Charlie Garrett is heading back to town!
Garrett won the prestigious title in Frome back in October last year and now he is set to return to the venue where he captured the championship (from Nathan Bane), as he puts his belt on the line against the number one heavyweight in the country, Chris Andrews.
This will be the first time these two stars have clashed and event promoters say it will be an explosive encounter.
Frome has become one of the most popular places to watch CSF Wrestling, attracting large audiences of all ages to each live event.
A representative from Event management said, “We try to bring the top possible names to every event here. 2014 saw three huge events take place at the Cheese and Grain, stars included Oliver Grey, Chris Masters and Doug Williams. This year will be even bigger with more world class competitors set to appear.
Garrett v Andrews will be a bout no fan will want to miss, only one man can leave the Champion. We can’t thank our loyal fans enough for their continued support.”
Another feature presentation of the family entertainment spectacular will see the long awaited return of the Wrestling Divas, as a very rare Ladies bout is set to take place. Globe trotting star Faith Lehaine will be live in action for one night only as she challenges any CSF Diva in an open challenge.
Other larger than life grapplers ready to dish out bone crunching body-slams and dropkicks include Taunton’s James Baker, the return of the hard hitting Team H8, Tyler Hawke and the tag team known as ‘Pretty Marvellous’ (first appearance in Frome).
The event, suitable for all ages will open it’s doors at 6.30pm with showtime at 7.00pm. The event will finish at 9.30pm. Following the event there will be an opportunity to meet all the wrestlers and collect photos and autographs.
