A LOCAL women has donated 12 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust and so far raised over £80.
Having had long hair since she was a child, Ria Painter Coates decided to have her long locks chopped off for the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illness.
Ria said, “There’s a minimum donation of seven inches, with an ideal donation of 12 inches as then they can make a lovely long wig. I donated 12 inches and have also been raising money to donate towards the cost of making the wigs.
“It’s a fantastic charity that deserves lots of support. Hopefully my donation will help to put a big smile on a little girl’s face when they are going through something awful.
“I had the chop at Simply Hair in Warminster, who are also donating a £20 voucher for me to use for a raffle.
