TRANSPORT will be the theme of the next BA13+ Community Area Partnership meeting on Wednesday 6th November 7pm at The Laverton.
The meeting will include discussions on the issues of traffic congestion on A350 Warminster Road and other routes and the potential for a by-pass; improving, enhancing, and increasing availability of cycle routes in and around Westbury; and ways to encourage effective use of the railway station and bus services.
Guest speakers include Adam Oakley from Connecting Chapmanslade, a group of cycling enthusiasts from the village who are hoping to create a cycle path which connects the towns of Frome, Westbury and Warminster; and Graham Ellis from TravelWatch South West, which promotes the interests of users and potential users of public transport across the region.
Entrance is free, everyone is very welcome and free teas and coffees will be available on arrival.
