VOLUNTEERS are wanted for a scheme hoping to make Westbury more dementia aware.
People are being asked to give their thoughts on how to make Westbury a more accommodating place for people with dementia.
The BA13 Community Area Partnership is working to establish a local action plan towards joining the Dementia Action Alliance.
Co-ordinator Phil McMullen said, “We would like to hear from anyone who would like to get involved, either by lending a hand or a voice, even just contributing ideas from the comfort of their own home. Ideally we’d like around 20 local people from the whole BA13 area to come forward so we can draw on as much of a representation from across the community as possible.”
