JOIN the Westbury Heritage Society for a guided walk around the historic town to help you learn more about where you live.
The guided tour will take place on Tuesday 29th May at 7.30pm, starting from the Westbury Heritage Centre on the High Street. You will then be taken around the town, guided by Heritage Society members who have in-depth knowledge about the historic and listed buildings in Westbury.
The tour will take about an hour and will be followed by refreshments at the heritage centre and a slideshow of historic photographs of bygone Westbury.
“We hope this will be a great opportunity for people to find out more about their town and to take a closer look at the buildings and the streets,” said local historian Liz Argent.
“Everyone is welcome to join the walk. There is no charge, but donations are welcome for the refreshments. For more details pop into the heritage centre or visit www.westburyheritagesociety.org.uk”.
