TWO Westbury youngsters have grown a giant sunflower in memory of their sister, who sadly died earlier this year.
The sunflower measures 9 feet 4 inches (2.85m) and was grown by Dan and Hannah Hunt, aged 6 and 4 years. The impressive plant stands at their home in Church Street, in the memorial garden that they made with their father for their much loved sister, Holly, who died just a few days after her eighth birthday.
“I have been really impressed by the dedication the children have shown to ‘Holly’s sunflower’, says their father, Alan. They have watered it every day. Holly would be so proud of them.”
